Justine Soper is the driving force behind JLS Solicitors. She has worked in legal practice since leaving school at age 16. Preferring to stay and work to gain valuable experience, at the same time she undertook her legal studies through part time attendance at college and evening classes. Firstly, she gained her Legal Executive qualification and, in 1997, attained Solicitor status, with a distinction from the prestigious Guildford College of Law, earning a Law Society prize for the highest grades on her course that year.

Justine is a Member of the Law Society's Advanced Family Law Panel, and an Accredited Specialist with Resolution. In addition, through further training with Resolution, Justine is a practicing Family Mediator and Collaborative Solicitor.

JLS Solicitors has been formed to offer a higher level of service and to focus on this area of law as specialists. Family Law is a unique discipline where clients need not only expert advice but also help with practical issues; an understanding that the whole family must be considered; and guidance to reach those calmer waters ahead.
